Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why choose mail-in product photography?
My mail-in service is the most cost effective solution for small product photography because it eliminates common expenses like travel and rental costs. Reducing overhead allows me to provide an affordable service to anyone in the United States without sacrificing quality.
Q: How does your mail-in service work?
You ship the product to me. I photograph it and upload the images to a web-based folder where you can review and download them. You can also request a copy on CD/DVD for $1. Then I return the product (if required).
Q: What is your shipping policy?
Clients cover the cost of shipping the product both ways. You can either include a return shipping label with your product or choose to be invoiced for the cost. Products will not be returned until payment for shipping is received.
If products don't need to be returned, please indicate that so I can exclude the return shipping cost from your rate.
Q: How many packages can I order?
You can order as many packages as you like! However, to deter backlog in the space, you may only send five (5) products to be fulfilled at a time. Once the products have been returned, you can ship the next set. Exceptions can be made for extremely small items.
Q: How long does it take?
Image delivery typically begins within 72 hours of receipt of your product. The more products you ship, the longer it will take to deliver all of the images. If you have a specific deadline, please notify me before purchasing a package and I'll let you know if it can be met.
Q: Can the images be printed?
Images are captured and delivered at a resolution suitable for printing. However, these packages are intended for images to be used in Amazon and Etsy listings. Please provide me with the necessary specs for delivery before ordering if interested in printing as well.
Q: What equipment do you use?
I don't discuss specific equipment used in-studio as the desired results are achieved with various DSLR cameras, lenses, and accessories and are not subject to client input.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are currently accepted via PayPal only.
